Responsibilities

Our Raleigh office is currently seeking an Intern ArchitectArchitectural Designer, or Drafter to join the Architectural Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience exposure to a wide variety of public and private sector projects. 

 

This will be an hourly position (about 20 hours per week); however, full-time seeking applicants will be considered. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Produce conceptual renderings for project and presentation purposes.
  • Prepares architectural working drawings and related project documents, including specifications.
  • Review Shop Drawings.
  • Develop presentations, designs and technical solutions through all phases of a project.

Qualifications

  • High proficiency in REVIT Building Information Modeling Architecture with experience in both design and construction documentation is required
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite
  • Experience with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro or similar is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint software desired
  • Ideal candidate must be dynamic, creative and detail oriented
  • Knowledge of general construction methods
  • Must be able to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams where overlap of client project work exists.
