    What You Will Do


    Gannett Fleming is looking for an ambitious, self-starter to join our Business and Technology Solutions team as a Business Analyst  2 in Washington, D.C. office. Successful candidates will have strong critical thinking skills and the desire to expand and learn in areas that include infrastructure performance, capital planning and prioritization, maintenance management, or asset management for transportation infrastructure. This is an opportunity to develop your technical knowledge in collaboration with clients and colleagues as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Under close supervision, our Business Analyst Intern will learn to combine their problem solving and analytical skills with innovation to deliver at the highest level.



    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide analytical support related to project budgets, efficiency, performance, policy, and administration. Services include, but may not be limited to:

    1) Analyze data available to create reports for effective planning and decision

    making to achieve fiscal responsibility.

    2) Identify opportunities to create efficiencies and cost savings

    work processes to improve resource allocation, risk mitigation, and creation

    of efficiencies for capital and maintenance operations.

    3) Analyze performance data to determine established data quality and


    4) Prepare reports and develop initiatives to identify and prioritize areas for

    departmental performance improvement.

    5) Provide cost estimates, forecasts, and schedules for annual TRST

    rehabilitation activities.

    Minimum Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent.

    Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis, business administration, or program management.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. Experience in

    rail or transit industry is preferred.

    The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, analyze data, coordinate with stakeholders,provide detailed reports, and give presentations to a variety of audiences.

    Good communication skills are required.
